Meet Dan
The maker behind Heworth Joinery
I'm Dan Hartley. I trained as a joiner straight out of school and spent fifteen years working on everything from new-build estates to careful restoration of York's older homes. A few years ago I set up on my own, working from a small workshop near Stockton Lane.
I started Heworth Joinery because I wanted to do work I could be proud of — properly made pieces, fitted with care, for people in my own community. When you call, you get me. When I quote a price, that's the price. And when I finish, I leave your home as tidy as I found it.
Most of my work comes from word of mouth around Heworth and the wider York area, which is exactly how I like it.
